Soloman Reavis, in Wharton, Texas. He had children with first wife Elizabeth Woods: Isaac Franklin Reavis (called Frank) (1852 - 1905), William Edward Reavis (called Edward)(1856 - 1935), and Sarah M. Reavis (born 1860, dead before 1870). Cordelia Bryant, Soloman's second wife, gave him a daughter: Elizabeth Cleo (born 1873 - 1947). Third wife, Sarah Ann Whyde (previously married to George W. Thrall (born 1841- died 1869). George & Sarah had a child born 1868, Cynthia Inez Thrall (died 1931).) Sarah gave Soloman: John Whyde Reavis, Agnes Woods (1879-after 1942), and twin Kate Thrall Reavis (1879 -1946).


William Edward Reavis, son of Soloman Reavis and first wife Elizabeth Wood Reavis. Photo apparenlty taken in Denver, Colorado. When he was 20 years old, he was a gold & silver miner in Yukon, Alaska. Lived in Lone Pine, California, for years, and died in Long Beach, California.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Swan of St. Louis. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Kiefer of Perryville. Mrs. Janet Endicott, sister of the bridge, served as matron of honor, and Joseph Kiefer, brother of the groom, served as best man. A reception was held at the home of the groom's parents. The bride is employed at Barnes Hospital, and the groom, a 1965 graduate of St. Vincent High School, is Assistant Tariff Compiler for Southwestern Freight Bureau."
